Elaine Whittaker - World of Threads Festival

Variants, Elaine Whittaker, a new sculptural installation will be in a group exhibition corridor entitled Forever Covid

World of Threads Festival is an exhibition of local, national & international Contemporary Fibre & Textile Arts, organized and curated by Dawne Rudman and Gareth Bate, featuring 426 artworks by 115 artists from 15 countries.

Member Elaine Whittaker has three works in the festival:

  1. The installation, Filamentous, by Elaine Whittaker and Kelley Aitken (first shown at Red Head Gallery in 2022) is in the entrance corridor

  2. A sculptural installation, Between Us, (first shown at Red Head Gallery in 2022) is in the gallery exhibition, Amorphous

  3. Variants, a new sculptural installation, is in the group exhibition corridor, Forever Covid
