Michael Davey is a Toronto-based artist who works mainly in video and cast materials. He is also an associate professor in the Visual Arts department at York University. His work has been exhibited in a variety of venues and has been collected by major corporations and public institutions in Canada, the US and overseas. A sculptor and installation artist who employs photography, drawing and video and whose work often includes cast materials and found objects. Much of his art practice takes place at or near his home on Toronto Island, Ontario, Canada.
