The Red Head Gallery is pleased to present To Endless Blue Horizons!, an exhibition by artist Adam Filek.

Adam Filek’s latest exhibition is an investigation into the allure of purgatorial pursuit, and the sanguine nature of an ever-disappearing horizon.

A series of videos, photographs, and performance remnants pay respect to the uncertain, while also giving praise to the frenetic and adrenal response; to not be discouraged from attempting the impossible, but instead to celebrate its enormity.

Adam Filek works through live and documented performance to investigate practices of endurance, ritual and poetic/archetypal investigation. His current work centres around practices of grief and loss, mirrored alongside one’s physical relationship with the intimate and inanimate.

Adam Filek was raised in rural Ontario and currently resides in Toronto. He is a graduate of OCAD University's Sculpture/Installation program and has exhibited in Toronto and internationally.
